Linking to the ACT Law Courts and Tribunal Websites

Permission must first be sought from the Principal Registrar and Chief Executive Officer, ACT Law Courts and Tribunal, prior to a link being created to the ACT Law Courts and Tribunal website. This website includes the following URLs:

Requests are to be in writing and include the following information:

  • your website’s  URL ;
  • reason(s) why you wish to create a link to the ACT Law Courts and Tribunal website  ;
  • a brief description of your site; and
  • appropriate contact details (e.g. e-mail or postal address) so that you can be advised of the outcome of your request.

Permission to link to the ACT Law Courts and Tribunal website will not be granted if:

  • inclusion on your site implies that the ACT Law Courts and Tribunal endorse your site or product;
  • http://www.courts.act.gov.au/ - along with the other three court and tribunal websites -  is used by your site solely for commercial practices;
  • the context of the material is changed technically (e.g. the material is framed and users are unable to determine the location of the original material).
